FAQs

What function does a Water Pressure Tank serve?
Water pressure tanks help regulate or maintain your water pressure. In addition, water pressure tanks help prevent annoying pressure fluctuations that occur when the pump is frequently turned on and off, and they regulate the pump to ensure it doesn't overheat and deteriorate prematurely due to frequent start-ups.

As with all motors, the most strain endured is during starting and stopping. The heat generated during this process is extreme and, if experienced in excess, can lead to permanent damage caused by overheating. The manufacturers of both standard and submersible motors recommend that you let a motor run for a full minute after starting it in order to allow the system to cool down.
With water pressure tanks, your pump is not subjected to frequent starts and stops. Therefore, the life spans of the water pressure tanks are increased and you are provided heightened comfort and convenience.
